IF - 03/02/07 - HIDE
the first thing that i thought of was those people who use their religion to hide behind. they are not really living the life they are preaching and claiming to live, but hiding behind their positions of power to point out faults to other people. some examples include (but are not limited to!) ted haggard, jim and tammy faye baker, jerry falwell, jesse jackson, pat robertson, and more. these are exactly the kind of christians who make other people hate christians. they put themselves into a position to help others, but in reality . . . . . they only cause destruction and make it worse on the true and sincere christians in their work.
this post in no reflects my views or personal beliefs towards christianity -- it only points out that i don't like hypocrits (those people who do what they preach against or who are what they say is wrong!) and have little tolerance for people who lie.
this drawing was done in a 9 x 12 sketchbook w/ 70# white paper with prang colored pencils, sprayed w/ matte finish sealant to keep it from smearing.

I love it! I could tell exactly who they were without having to think hard about it! I mean, EVERYBODY just looks right!!!

love the drawing. also the way you choose to us the word hide. i feel the same way about people that hide behind the bible. but thats not all that people hide behind for there own gain.
