dryad => forest fairy

watching tv one night, i needed something more to do. not something serious, though, like grading papers . . . but something fun, like drawing and/or coloring.

this is just a picture out of my head and not based on a photo or another picture. rarely can i get something on paper the way i see it in my head, but this one turned out really very close to what i wanted.

this drawing was done in a 9 x 12 sketchbook w/ 70# white paper with a terra cotta prang colored pencil, sprayed w/ matte finish sealant to keep it from smearing.
