the future

the future was looking fairly fuzzy and unsure at this point. jerry and i were having issues, based on the behavior and attitude of his son. the plans that we were making together were now being made by him. i wasn't happy in this situation, but i understood what was happening. we ended up putting our relationship back to the dating phase while jerry had time to sort out his family situation. this has since gone much better (this pic was drawn out of sequence but compared well w/ the picture before it to show how different things can be) and we're planning to get married in the late spring or early summer, which is when i agreed to marry in the first place.

the writing and drawing are done w/ prang colored pencils. i used a tissue to smudge the writing to make it look blurry, like the future looked at this point.
