holding his heart in my hands

i realized at this point that i had the power to hold jerry's heart in my hands and that my thoughts and feelings had a tremendous impact on his future. also, tracing around my hand or my granddaughter's (raven) hand is something that we do in church to help keep her entertained.

the writing here is in gel ink pen and the drawings are done w/ prang colored pencils. instead of tracing my hands palm-down, i traced them palm-up so it would look like i had my hands together and cupping something of importance.
