a vist at work

jerry came to see me at work one night, as i work the front desk at the comfort inn hotel. i do all the night paperwork and credit card transactions/deposits. i'm free to stand and talk as i work, though.

the writing was done first, and then i used a inkjet printer to print a picture of the hotel and the words on a transparency NOT made for inkjets. i reversed the image so that when i put the wet ink down in the paper to rub it off the words and hotel would be facing the right direction. then while the ink was still wet, i gently put the transparency ink-side down on the paper, held steady, and burnished (rubbed) w/ the side of my hand to transfer the ink picture onto the page.
