flowers on a rough day

one night when jerry and i met at the park to have dinner, i was sitting at a picnic table w/ my head down and asleep b/c of the horrible night i had at work the night before. i had worked the night shift and then gone straight to school to teach. i had an email from him in the morning, and i had responded later -- letting him know that i could meet for a short while but that i was tired and had a horrid night. when he arrived, he had dinner and flowers for me.
